Money Man
Starting from the name “Money Man” all the way to his stage performance, Delawrence Powell,
demands the audience's attention by making music that's makes you want to get out of your seat
and Jook! This 23 year old Miami native is making noise down south, and it won’t be long until
the world begins to ask, “Who is Money Man?”
Money Man always had a love for the art of music, but never would have thought that love for
the art would turn into the love for performing. He found his inspiration from his child’s mother
who is an R&B singer in Miami who goes by the name of "Asia". Asia introduced him to the
lifestyle of being an entertainer, and he fell in love with the craft. What sets him apart from the rest,
is the fact that he will never be a one-sided artist, meaning he doesn’t see himself as only a rapper,
he love’s different genres of music, and will soon be coming out with a few “Rock” and “Pop” songs.
He likes to bring a lot of energy to his tracks that will turn up the whole night. Money man aim’s to
please the ladies, so if they aren't feeling the record; the record has to go harder. What he would like
to accomplish as an artist is to make sure that he touches lives with his music. He loves to dance and
watch the crowd dance to as well. “It’s a good feeling to go home after a performance, and thinking to
myself that, "it was me that made someone or someone’s day better”, said Money Man.
The artist that stand out to him the most at this moment is Rick Ross, Wacka Flaka, and Gucci
Mane. He looks at them as the southern “Movers & Shakers” in the industry. Money Man’s
latest project that he is working on is his mix tape that is titled “Dougie Gang” that is set to be
released very soon. The best is yet to come for Money Man. Money man also states that “You
will never find another artist like me, I’m a trendsetter, I’m original, and people like me never go
out of style!”
